You are in my thoughts ...

Good morning! I hope you had a marvelous weekend. Today's card is thoughtful and sweet.

I stamped the Little Girl in Springtime (F466) with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, and used Copic Markers to color her. A White Gelly Roll Pen was used in the center of the flowers, and for the band on the hat. Distress Ink was applied to create ground cover and sky. I chose the Thoughts Sentiment (B176) to go with this lovely girl. I then create the border around the image using a 0.35 Copic Multi-Liner.

Our Great Impressions May Challenge is live! Hop on over for all of the details, and join in the FUN! We can't wait to see what you create this month!

Until next week ... Enjoy!

Sweet Little Girl

Hello stamping friends! Leah here and I have a card to share with you using some wonderful Great Impressions images. When I found this stamp I just had to have it as it reminds me so much of my little girl. I am amazed each day by her and she really is a miracle.

This sweet image is called Little Girl in Springtime (F466) and she was so much fun to color. I used Copics for my coloring. I also just adore this sentiment which is called Roots of Hope (C289). I added some rolled felt flowers and die cut foliage along with pearls and stitching. I hope to live that way each day! Have a beautiful creative day.

INSPIRATION SATURDAY WITH ELLEN

Hello sweet Great Impressions friends!  This is Ellen from In a World of Craft with a bit of inspiration from the Great Impressions store. Today is the second Saturday in May so you have plenty of time to join in with our current challenge.  Here is a little inspiration to get you going!

I  love this sweet little girl image and had so much fun coloring her with my Copics. This is another card that will go to Operation Write Home, so I could see a soldier sending this home to a little girl. What do you think? The butterfly is a little plastic embellishment from my old stash. I don’t remember where it came from.

Thanks so much for stopping by for a bit of inspiration from Great Impressions. Be sure to check out the current monthly challenge and don’t forget to link your GI creations at our CUSTOMER GALLERY!

One last thing, be sure to “Like” Great Impressions on FACEBOOK and I’ll see you again next Saturday!

Hugs!
