Happy Thursday Great Impressions Stamp Friends!

Kendra from Luv 2 Scrap 'n Make Cards here today to share a pretty card!!

One sure sign for spring that I absolutely love seeing is my blooming Daffodils!!

I love the new J115 Elegant Daffodils!!

It sure has me wishing for spring!!

I also used the new B246 Happy Everything sentiment!
Although the stamp is one whole stamp, I broke it up into two parts.

I was really excited to see the little dots along the stem of the daffodils!

What a perfect touch, especially since I visioned adding rhinestones to those spots!!!!

Spring, spring spring, I can't wait! When will it arrive in NH???

Love these darling G519 Tutu  Chicks from Great Impressions!

I colored them with copics and layered them up with some die cut frames. I added the sentiment  B246 Happy Everything!

Hi! Well we can hope that spring will come one day soon! I colored the pretty J115 Elegant Daffodils image for my card today using watercolors.

I used my Tombow markers to color the image and background. After it was dry I stamped the B246 Happy Everything sentiment over the top of my flowers. I hope you are staying warm wherever you are!

Ducky Easter

Hi, friends!  It's time for me to share another creation using fabulous stamps from the Great Impressions online store!  Today I have a card using some of our newest designs. I hope you like it!  Take a gander...PUN INTENDED THIS WEEK!

I am IN LOVE with this darling new image, H263 Springtime Louie!  I stamped him onto white card and colored him with Spectrum Noir markers.  He was layered onto some black card and I decided to punch the corners of the panels on this card for extra interest.

I flanked Louie with some paper flowers.  The turquoise ribbon is behind the panel to add more color.  The sentiment added is part of C317 Wishing Somebunny.  I thought the font was perfect to go with this darling image!

All of these elements were added to the card base.  I used some orange polka dot paper and a doily so that the end feel would be super cute and girly.  I think this card is destined for some special gals this Easter! What do you think?  I would love to hear in the comments below!

The snow is beginning to finally melt, and I'm hopeful that by Monday, I can drive

myself places again!  My last trip out that I actually drove, was on Feb. 13th!

Hope you're enjoying some sunshine where you are, as well.

On to my card!

I have a sweet card to share with you today that uses stamps from Great Impressions.

Here's what I created, using: Great Impressions Valentine Bird Houses G517, and Great Impressions Tags G483.

This was so easy to do.

I began with my white card base...folded it, and set it aside.

I cut a piece of cloud paper to about 5 1/4 x 3 3/4 inches. 

My handy dandy scissors cut a little hillside, which I adhered to the lower section of the panel.

I trimmed it up to the right width after adhering.

The sentiment was stamped on a scrap of white card stock, adhered to the green hill, and an enamel dot finished that off.  

The image was then stamped onto the cloud panel, as well as several pieces of patterned papers.  

The birds and one birdhouse and leaves were cut from these patterned papers, and paper-pieced, by adhering the pieces directly onto the stamped image.

The focal panel was then placed onto a mat of black card stock, and then onto the white card base.

What a fun stamp this is!  It was easy to paper piece, and I can't wait to color it!

 I had so much fun coloring the G517 Valentine Bird Houses with copic markers. I used some rectangle stitched dies to frame the image. I added the sentiment B246 Happy Everything.

Baby Chick

Hello stamping friends! Today I have a fun card to share with you that uses one of the new Great Impressions images called F604 Baby Chick in Tulip.

Isn't this image sweet? I watercolored it using my Tombow markers and I added the pretty A149 Dainty Butterfly so that the little chick was looking at something. I hope you like it!

Easter Daffodils

Hi, friends!  It's time for me to share another creation using fabulous stamps from the Great Impressions online store!  Today I have a card using some of our newest designs. I hope you like it!  Take a gander...

Since Easter is earlier in April this year, I decided to start my cards earlier as well!  This card was started with me stamping J115 Elegant Daffodils onto some white card.  I colored it in with Sakura glitter gel pens for some shine.  I then stamped part of B245 Wishing You A Happy Easter Sm. in the bottom of he panel.  I added some paper piercing and enamel dots for added texture.

I kept it super simple to draw the eye to the image.  I love the clean feel and the spring colors!  What do you think?  I hope you leave me a comment below and let me know!
