Roses of Friendship

Hi, all!  It's Monday, so I'm back to share a card made using some of my favorite stamps from Great Impressions!  Take a peek...

I started by stamping G454 Rose Trio onto kraft cardstock and colored it in with colored pencils.  I added some liquid pearls for a bit more shine and to tie in the polka dot paper used on the card base.

The sentiment I used is E841 To Be Oneself.  I truly believe this is the definition of friendship!  I stamped it onto white cardstock, and then accented it with a few fun embellishments.

I really like the way this turned out.  I think the red, white, and green are a bit Christmas-y sometimes, but I feel that they work well here.  What do you think?  Please leave me a comment below to let me know!

Happy Birthday Bear

Happy Saturday, crafty friends!  Julie here today from Muddy Paws & Inky Fingers, sharing a birthday card. This card is also my entry for the C.R.A.F.T. challenge that Great Impressions Stamps is sponsoring.  The theme is - birthday.

This card uses 2 Great Impressions Stamps:  F631 - Bear With Flowers,  and G483 - Tags.

I colored F631 - Bear With Flowers with Copic markers.  The card base was cut out on my Silhouette Cameo.  The Prima flowers started out white, but were inked with several colors of Tim Holtz Distress Inks. The butterfly is a Cheery Lynn die.

I created my card with this month's Blinged Birthday Challenge in mind!!

 I stenciled the stars onto my cardstock using shades of pink distress inks.

I then stamped the beautiful Swirly Happy Birthday (E367) sentiment!!  I love the font used on this sentiment, so beautiful!!

I added a bunch of pink bling!  And as you can see in the bottom left of this picture, I also sprayed the card with some glitter spritz!  So it is VERY shimmery!!

Someone Like You ...

Good morning! Ruza here to share a Birthday card that feature the H257 Someone Like You Sentiment, available at the Great Impressions Stamps.

Leaving the Someone Like You Sentiment as my focal point for today's card, I pulled out some Coral, Smoked Sea Salt and Spearmint cardstock to create my background. 

Of course once I was done, I thought maybe I should have embossed the base panel. I love the clean and simple design which is perfect for putting in the mail. Loving this design I think I'm going to make a set of cards in different colors, and add that embossing that I left out (wink).

Birthday Birdie

Hi! Today I have a fun birthday card to share with you that also goes along with the current CRAFT challenge that Great Impressions is sponsoring this week.

I used some super cute new images for my card. The adorable pup and bird are called (G534) Dog and Bird and the matching sentiment is (G535) Early Bird. I watercolored the image and added some embossed edging to the sides. 

For some embellishment I added some gold washi tape and a few dew drops. Hopefully I don't forget anyone's birthday soon, but if I do at least I have a cute card, just in case :)

Owllo!

Good morning friends!  Today is Tuesday so this is Lorie and I get to share with you a fun card made with a Great Impressions Stamp!

There are so many times that I'm just looking for a 'hello' card and this super cute image is perfect!  This is called Owllo (G553).  I thought it would be fun to use blue paper up top of the card and then I embossed it with a cloud embossing folder.  The yellow scallop is reminiscent of the sun and then of course the leaf paper to ground it a bit.

Unique & Extraordinary

Hi, all!  It's Monday, so I'm back to share a card made using *NEW* stamps from Great Impressions!  I went CAS, yet shabby, and I hope it works.  Take a peek...

This card uses the *NEW* E893 Unique sentiment.  I stamped it, then added some color and sparkle with gel pens.  Some paper flowers accent the sentiment, which was added to a patterned card base.  A line of pearls adds more finish and an anchor for the sentiment.

That's it!  Totally easy peasy!  I hope you like it--I think it turned out to be pretty.  Please feel free to leave me a comment below to let me know your thoughts! :)

Peeking in to Wish You Well

Happy Saturday, fellow stamp lovers.  Julie here today, from Muddy Paws & Inky Fingers. I LOVE any chance I get to create with these incredible stamps!  Today I played with the fun H264 - Puppy Peeking and matching sentiment E865 - Peeking In. 

  

I colored H264 - Puppy Peeking with Copic markers.  I stamped the sentiment, E865 - Peeking In, at an angle, then tore the paper along the stamp.  I did the same with the backing paper.

Yea!  I have an adorable Get Well card, ready to go.  Anything with a dog theme is a hit with many of my dog-friendly relatives and friends.  We're all a bit pet-crazy!

With Mother's Day this weekend, I was inspired to create a Mother's Day card!!

Recently I got the beautiful Rose Trio (G454) stamp and thought that it would be the perfect stamp to use to create my Mother's Day card:

I had so much fun coloring the image in!  I love rorses!!

I think this card turned out to beautifully!!

I also add the Happy Mother's Day (B150) sentiment!!

Happy Mother's Day ...

Good morning! Ruza here to share another Mother's Day card that features one of our Newest Stamps ...  the F631 Bear with Flowers along with the B190 Mother's Day Sentiment, available at the Great Impressions Stamps.

I stamped the Bear with Flowers on Watercolor Paper with Ranger Jet Black Archival Ink then commenced with watercoloring the image with my Marvy LePlume Markers, pallet, paintbrush and water. To get the darker brown color for the Bear I also used Vintage Photo Distress Ink for my watercoloring. Using one of my circle dies I outlined a half circle and added the sky background around the Bear with Flowers. White Liquid Pearls was applied to the center of all the flowers.

I stamped the Mother's Day Sentiment under the Bear with Flowers and added the ground cover. This is the same sentiment I used last week. I'm sure you are looking at the sentiment and wondering why it looks so different. Well ... I have a tendency to cut my stamps, and that is what I did with the sentiment as I wanted it to be one line.

Unique

Hello!Leah here and I have a card that would suit lots of occasions but would also be a great one to give your mom or some other special lady in your life.

I used the fun Stylistic Peacock (H285) for my main image and used watercolors to color it. It has a great matching sentiment called Unique (E893). I kept it pretty simple as the image can really speak for itself and just mounted it on some cardstock and patterned paper after using Distress ink on the edges of the focal panel. A bit of twin finishes it off.

Today I'm featuring a card made with a new stamp called Dog & Bird G534 and the Cloud Stencil.  I decided on no sentiment on the outside so I could use it for any purpose.  The papers I've had hanging around my craft room for awhile and are nice and bright so I thought they would be perfect!

One Layer Mother's Day

Hi, friends!  I'm back today to share a card using some beautiful stamps from the Great Impressions online store.  Since Sunday is Mother's Day, I thought I'd share a one layer Mother's Day card today.  Take a peek...

This image I used for this card is H255 Watercolor Flowers.  I colored it with markers before stamping.  Liquid pearls were added to the centers for more texture and shine.

After coloring and stamping the image twice, I stamped my sentiment--D350 My Mother.  Some pearls were added to anchor the sentiment.  I then rounded the corners of the card, and it was done!  I hope you like it--I really do!  Please leave me a comment below to let me know what you think!
