Savored and Treasured ...

Good morning! Ruza here to share a Friendship card featuring the G82 Savored & Treasured Sentiment, available at the Great Impressions Stamps.

Using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink I stamped the Savored & Treasured Sentiment on White cardstock, then layered it onto Black cardstock to create my focal point. Using the same cardstock I created the background, layered it onto my black cardstock, and used 3D Foam Tape to add my sentiment panel. Once this was complete I added the Black Enamel Dots. I also finished the inside of the card with the same background I created for the cover.

This sentiment is absolutely spot on, and I wanted to show it's elegance with a clean and simple design.

That is all for me today. I will be back next week with another project featuring some amazing stamps from Great Impressions! I hope you will check out and play along with this months Great Impressions Challenge. Remember, if you use some Great Impressions stamps make sure you link them up in our Customer Gallery!

Until next week ... Enjoy!

Happy Everything!

This week Great Impressions Stamps is sponsoring the C.R.A.F.T. Challenge and the challenge is 'bling' and who doesn't like bling?
I had a great time combining stamps for this challenge...three in all.  Birdie with spring flowers C401, Dainty Butterfly A149 and Happy Everything B246.  In addition to bling on the butterflies and the birdie (which I couldn't capture) there is bling on all the flowers (which you can kinda see below).  I love the happy happy, bright colors and layout of this card...so fun!
Now, don't forget, to play along with our challenge this month please head over to the page HERE and link it up so we can see!  And, if you use a Great Impressions Stamp link it up to our customer gallery HERE as well!

Bling Ducks

Hi, friends!  I am back today to share a new card using stamps from the Great Impressions online store!  My card today is for the C.R.A.F.T. challenge this week.  Great Impressions is sponsoring, and the theme is "Add Some Bling"!  TOO fun!  Take a peek at my offering...

I used the *NEW* H283 Louise With Ducklings image for this card.  My goal was to make a card that any child would like, so I kept with primary and secondary colors, added some rhinestone flowers and punched butterflies, and colored the image with glittery gel pens for added sparkle and shine!

I added the main panel to a card base prepped with polka dot papers.  I think this turned out super cute, and I hope you agree!  Please leave a comment below to let me know what you think!

That's all for me today, friends.  THANK YOU so much for stopping by to take a peek at my card!  I also would love for you to come and join our monthly challenge!  If you use a stamp from the Great Impressions online store, please link it up in our Customer Gallery, too!  Until next time, HUGS and happy stamping, friends! :)

I work in a nursing home for my "day job", and often am called upon to play organ at funerals for my "moonlighting" job.  I can never have enough sympathy cards.  The H251 Tall Tulips rubber stamp is perfect for sympathy cards.

I used H251 Tall Tulips and colored it with Copic markers.  The sentiment stamp is B206 With Sympathy.  I blinged the card up with rhinestone accents from my stash.

Jelly Bean Time ...

Good morning! Ruza here to share a Easter card featuring H284 Jelly Bean TimeB252 Border of Jelly Beans, and E890 Life is Sweeter Sentiment, available at the Great Impressions Stamps.

I stamped the adorable Jelly Bean Time on white cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. Since I stamped the image a week before coloring, I water-colored the image using my Marvy Markers. After cutting the image down to size, layering it onto some design paper and then to my panel, I added the Life is Sweeter Sentiment, which I split up, above and below the image. I then applied Glossy Accents to the jar of Jelly Beans, and added some bling to the flowers and each corner.

It's so much fun making coordinating envelopes for my cards and the Border of Jelly Beans is a perfect match for today's card.

Don't you just love this Jelly Bean Time stamp? I know I do!

you're EGGstra special!

Okay, it's Tuesday and you know that means it's Lorie with you here today!  Shall we get started?  First my project:
I had a pot of very pretty tulips that I wanted to give to a friend for Easter so you know I had to make a little tag to present them to her.  For this super sweet tag I used F630 Harry With Egg and D517 Eggstra Special for the stamps and once again I've used the Cloud Stencil Kit to make the clouds.  To start I used some shimmery white cardstock and stamped Harry then colored him and the grass with Copics before making the clouds using Bashful Blue ink.  On the egg is some Smooch in Illuminate.  The sentiment is stamped on a fun dimensional tag in Rich Razzleberry.  A splash of a polka dot ribbon at the top and tahdah...you are all set!

Now, don't forget, to play along with our challenge this month please head over to the page HERE and link it up so we can see!  And, if you use a Great Impressions Stamp link it up to our customer gallery HERE as well!

Spring Scene

Hi, friends!  I am back today to share a new card using stamps from the Great Impressions online store!  My card today features a fun stamp that needs no sentiment, but it could go either way.  I chose to go with NO sentiment!  Take a peek...

This image is H267 Potted Flowers.  I stamped it and colored it with Spectrum Noir markers.  I then added some glitter, glossy accents, rhinestones, and a bit of faux stitching for more texture.

I then matted the focal panel with black cardstock.  After doing that, I added the panel to a kraft card base that was prepped with some fun polka dot paper.  I LOVE the way this turned out, and I hope you do, too!  I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments below! :)

Another Birthday?

Happy Saturday, fellow stamp lovers!  Julie here today from Muddy Paws & Inky Fingers.  I have a good friend who will be turning 94 in a week or so.  I try to make and send him a card each week.  He's one of my biggest fans. So, of course, when his birthday rolls around, I try to make him something really special.

Here's his card for his 94th birthday --
Front side of the card:

I used F611 Surprised Mouse and colored him with Copic markers.

Here's the other side of the flip card, using D503 Another Birthday --

Somehow I think my friend will think that sentiment perfect for his age.  He has a great sense of humor, and I can hear his chuckle all the way across the state!

I'll be back next week.  In the meantime, please enter our Bunny Hop challenge.  We want to see your Easter/Spring projects. You'll find many wonderful rubber stamps in the Great Impressions Store.

Hexagon Hello

Happy Friday Great Impressions Stamp Friends!

Kendra from Luv 2 Scrap 'n Make Cards here today to share a fun bright card with you!!

I'm featuring the Lg. Hello (A138) sentiment stamp for this card!
I used some fun hexagon dies to randomly die cut hexagons from my white card layer!

I then took the same hexagon dies and die cut the hexagon shape from different pattern paper!!

I picked bright colors as I wanted to make this card as fun as possible!!

I then placed the hexagon patterned pieces into the die cut areas on the main layer.  Four of them were adhered to the actual card base and the other three I used a pop-dot so they would be the same height as the layer.
I finished the card off by adding some bright colored enamel dots!!!
So super fun!!!

Happy Everything ...

Good morning! Ruza here to share a Spring card featuring H228 Spring Floral Border and B246 Happy Everything Sentiment, available at the Great Impressions Stamps.

I stamped the lovely Spring Floral Border on white cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. Since I stamped the image a week before coloring, I decided to watercolor the image with my Marvy Markers. Once it was dry I cut the image out with my pierced rectangle die.

Using a diagonal stitched die I cut the background with pink cardstock, and then cut some scrap design paper to go along the left side. Since my design didn't allow for the Happy Everything Sentiment to be together, I cut the stamp in half, and put half of the sentiment above the image and half below the image.

Next I added my background to my cardbase, adhered the Spring Floral Border image with 3D Foam Tape, then added a butterfly in the right hand corner with pearls in the center.

I'm happy to say that I love how my water coloring turned out since I used Memento Tuxedo Black Ink to stamp the image. The only smudge was caused when I put the sky in near the bottom of the image.

That is all for me today. I will be back next week with another project featuring some amazing stamps from Great Impressions! I hope you will check out and play along with this months Great Impressions ChallengeRemember, if you use some Great Impressions stamps make sure you link them up in our Customer Gallery!

Hello! Leah here and today I have an Easter card to share with you that uses a pretty quote sentiment.

I started with the J115 Elegant Daffodils image and colored it with Copics. I then thought the E891 Easter Sunday sentiment was a nice pairing.

Hoppy Easter!

Hello all...Happy Tuesday!  To follow the theme for the month I've made another fun bunny card for Easter using Hoppy Easter F438.  Since it is such a simple stamp I thought building a scene for it would be perfect so I pulled out a grass die and the Cloud Stencil Kit from Great Impressions and got to work!
I added a few sequins in the sky and tied a bow with some white twine and I think this makes a super sweet Easter card!
