Good morning! Ruza here to share some Valentine Matchbook's featuring the F626 Swirly Valentines stamp available at Great Impressions Stamps.
I love making Valentine's for my daughter to hand out to her peers, and these Valentine Matchbook's are perfect and so easy to make. All you need to do is measure the length of your candy treat, double the length and add room for the bottom and fold on top, then add about 1/4" to the width of the treat, fold and presto you are done. Not really. :-D
I then used my Tim Holtz Tiny Stapler to staple the bottom part of the treat into the Matchbook. Make sure if you try this idea out that you staple close to the bottom edge so you can tuck the flap into the Matchbook.
Since I used red cardstock for the base, I added a white strip for my sentiment and some washi-tape along the bottom to cover the staples.
Here is a picture of the inside treat ...
and then a side view ...
Now while you are in the mood to create some Valentine's, make sure you hop on over to Aud Sentiments Challenge Blog for their NEW Challenge that goes live today. The Theme is "Use a Love Sentiment", and you will have another chance to WIN some amazing Great Impressions stamps.
That is all for me today. I will be back next week with another project featuring some amazing stamps from Great Impressions! I hope you will check out our current Great Impressions Challenge, and if you use some Great Impressions stamps make sure you link them up in our Customer Gallery!
