Simple Things

Happy, happy Thursday! Today, I've got a sweet card
featuring another adorable Great Impressions' image...

This is Harvest Mouse...didn't I tell you this is one adorable image?! I colored with Copics and then used clear glitter over the pumpkin and the leaf.

A few colorful, leaves cut out with my Sizzix eClips.
(Do you like my fall leaves? Stop by my blog next week for the tutorial!)

You may have seen this sentiment, Simple Things on a card I made last week...works on this card, too!

I remembered to keep out the Copics I used this time...

Don't forget to stop by tomorrow for our Blog Hop - lots of inspiration and even prizes! You don't want to miss it... See you soon!

Elegant Motif

Good morning!

This week I wanted to use a very versatile, and elegant, little stamp to show how repeating an element can really finish off a card.

(Supplies - Stamp: (Great Impressions StampsElegant Motif. Ink: (Fresh Ink) Capri Blue. Cardstock: (PTI) Soft Stone, New Leaf, Enchanted Evening, White. Letter Stickers: BasicGrey. Ribbon: May Arts. Gems: Hero Arts. Impression Plate: (PTI) Linen and Canvas. Border die: (PTI) Small scalloped border.)

I used an acrylic block with a grid to line up my image. I stamped it 5 times, alternating sides, then trimmed the panel to 4.25 x 1.5 inches. The result is a fun focal point that I embellished with a few gems. To make the  stamped panel stand out even more, I die cut two scalloped borders from white cardstock and adhered them behind the soft stone cardstock. The white also created a visual triangle between the white crinkle ribbon, white scalloped border, and white letter stickers.

I am off to work on my card for the Ronald McDonald House Charities blog hop on Friday! I hope you all will join us to support a great cause. See you there!

Erin.

Spook - tacular!

Good Morning Peeps!

Today I want to get you in a
spook-tacular mood (grin!)

I combined four of my spookiest
Halloween stamps from Great Impressions Stamps
for my card.  We have a huge selection of Fall,
Halloween and Thanksgiving Stamps.
Hop on over to the store
and check out all the options!

I'm in love with this background stamp!  I stamped it several times on my card base.  Then I heat embossed the delicate spider web,  fussy cut it out, and adhered it.  Then I stamped my sentiment and that scary tiny spider "dangling" from the web. (grin!)

I want to remind everyone that The Great Impressions

Pumpkins

Welcome to a fun fall Monday. Did everyone have a good weekend?

Of course it is fall now and well winter in some places and still nice in sunny in others.

Where I am at they started putting up the pumpkin patches. I cannot wait to get some. I think we will be doing a pumpkin a week in my house. I just love the smell and carving them is so fun!

So for my card this week I used the stamp

The papers are from the new Bo Bunny Apple Cider line. I love these papers. I also used some jute string. I used a small large scallop rectangle for my copic colored image.

I am so excited with the upcoming holidays. I guess they are always more fun when you have kids because you want to bake and decorate and get into the spirit.

So I hope this inspires you to get into the fall mood!

A Country Setting

Saturday Morning✓

Jammies✓

Blog surfing✓

I love a nice quiet, slow Saturday morning! Although kind of rare around here, they sure are relaxing, aren't they?

Today I am showing you the  Country Setting stamp .  Reminds me of my Troutlake family! (Hi there!) They have a wonderful farm up in Troutlake Washington-a beautiful place right at the base of Mt. Adams. And yes, they have a fruit tree in the front yard too!

I colored the image with my copics, matted it on red and added the rest of the elements on a kraft card. (yep, the other half of  yesterdays CAS krafty cardstock).

I hope you enjoy your Saturday Jammie day!

Don't forget next week you will see lots going on here on the blog! Great Impressions Ronald McDonald Hop with a Cause starts the 28th!

Sounds easy, but believe me it can
be challenging for many (me included:)  The

the theme of "Fall Fun."

Watering Can Bouquet

Hi everyone!

Does anyone else have a type of stamp or stamps they gravitate toward, time and time again? For me, its flowers. I adore them. Sunflowers, peonies, lilacs, daisies, roses... I must have them all! I like line images that I can color (like today's stamp), and solid images that make an impact. When I saw this stamp in the Great Impressions catalog, I knew I had to have it! The image is very detailed, so I kept the papers and embellishments to a minimum. Just a few pieces of patterned paper, ribbon, and some buttons.

(Supplies - Stamp: (Great Impressions Stamps) Watering Can Bouquet, With Sympathy. Cardstock, Patterned Paper, Ribbon: Papertrey Ink. Other: Buttons, Stickles, Copics.)

After I colored each of the flowers, I used stickles to add glitter to the centers. Another one of my favorite products. :-)

Have a great week!

Erin.

...just add water

Hi there!

My card today just gives me the giggles.  It reminds me of when
my kiddos were little and I always had tub toys on hand for baths.
I'd hand them some dried up looking spongy thing and they would
look at me like "yeah, right mom", until they placed it in the water and like
magic it would morph into some really neat-o creature.  Then they were all
smiles and there was happy play time in tub land.

This was totally simple to make with some Halloween DP, a Deckled Nestie,
a bit of coloring with my Copics and a zip around the edges
with my sewing machine.

Not Shown:  Button from Hobby Lobby

Harvest Cart

Hey everyone. I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. Is it starting to cool off where you are?? It has cooled down just a bit here in Vegas and it is starting to slide into fall here.
So for the fall season coming about here is a card I made using

Of course as always the image is colored with copics. I used a piece of Bo Bunny paper and some gold ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon. I kept this card very simple with a great easy to do bow!

Hope you like and that my card has inspired you to go make something
GREAT!

Shanna
