My Last Post

I am so sad to say my 1 year term is up and this is my last past. It has been such a wonderful year of making new friends and sharing Great Impression Stamps with everyone out there. 

I am excited for the new girls starting their new terms with such a fun and wonderful group.

With all that being said I am sharing a card I made using some yummy things sent to me from Mary. We did a Christmas swap sending each other some yummy goodies to create with. 

She sent me some yummy papers, washi tape, and this great sentiment. The stamp is called Said the Butterfly. I added the pearls to make the card a little more. She sent me a lot more goodies than what you see here and boy am I excited to play around with it!

So said goodbye and a happy hello.

Winter Trees

Merry Christmas Eve everyone. I really hope everyone has made it safely to their destinations and that people get to spend time with their loved ones. I know I am excited to spend Christmas with my family as I haven't gotten to the last two years. So all my Christmas cheer and baking has been exciting.

So today I am sharing a little holiday cheer with you. I used the stamp Peace and Happiness and the stamp Snowy Trees. I stamped the image with embossing ink and embossed the image with Forest Green EP, added glitter using glossy accents, and embellished with jute ribbon.

I made this a simple easel card.

Joy Candle Holder

How is everyone cooping with getting ready for the holidays??? Does everyone have enough cocoa where it is cold and enough lemonade where it is hot????

Today I used the stamp Joy with Bulbs to add to my tea light holder.

I couldn't find the right glass container to put in here with the candle. I am sure there are tons out there due to the holidays but finding the right one I should have been a little better prepared. 

I used a spellbinder die to cut out the stamp. I have no clue what papers these were I just grabbed them out of my Christmas stash. 

This is a fun project and easy for anyone to create. It is a great piece for the mantle and you can create a bunch of them easy as gifts to give. Maybe even get a few stamps for stocking stuffers!

Merry Kiss Moose

Happy Happy Monday to everyone out there!

 I am so excited to share with you a fun Christmas card I made using stamps from our newest addition to the Great Impression family of stamps.

For my card I used Merry Kiss Moose H236 and Happy Hearts B229

I cut Merry Kiss Moose out using a circle spellbinder die and colored him with copics and added some stickles to his shiny ornaments.

Here you can see the whole card and I love that I was able to use this fun Bo Bunny paper for the card.

A little Yellow

 How was everyone's Thanksgiving???? I hope everyone had a wonderful time and safe travels.

Well I made a fall style card using the stamp Daisy Flourish (E702).

I colored the image with copics and added some Sonic Silver Glitter from Sparkle n Sprinkle on the little flowers so they look like silver bells.

I used the spellbinder die label four I believe and inked all my edges with distress ink. 

The ribbon is from The Ribbon Girl.... I love the quality of the ribbons she sells!

The papers are from My Mind's Eye from a release I believe they had last year! 

Hope you like my simple creation. It is my final fall style card I think for this year.

One of Those Days

Good Happy Monday to everyone. I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. 

Today I am sharing a card that kind of has multiple feels to it.

Those Days (B166) and Potted Kitty (E617)

This card it awesome to me.

Of course you can read into this several ways. I just love how the kitty is popping up out of the flowers. 

One of those days is truly a great saying. It can be great or bad. For me it is great!

I used some some My Mind's Eye paper, spellbinder dies, twine, and half back pearls.

Make a Froggy Wish

We have another week of releases for you. Tons of fun Christmas themes coming your way this week.

So here is my creations using the new stamps

Whimsical Wish (E773) and Prince Charming (F534)

I colored Prince Charming with copics and that was a ton of fun. I am not best with greens but he turned out great. I used some Sparkle n Sprinkle Red Apple embossing powder to emboss the sentiment. I turned the sentiment into a banner by using a circle punch to chomp the ends off and some fun red ribbon along the boarder. The papers are from one of the new Bo Bunny collections.

I really had fun creating a single layer card. It is not something I do on a regular basis ever. I find it really hard. But I love seeing them and thought I'd give it a try!

Instant Witch

Happy Monday. Halloween is only a couple days away. Are you ready??? We are. We have even gone to a couple trick or treat parties and some community events already. This stamp is so fun and exciting and great for anyone.

The stamp used is Instant Witch.

I used some brand new Echo Park papers, colored the image with copics, and added some Impulsive Purple glitter. The black ribbon was just for a border and a good friend Barbara gave me the idea for the broomstick (I used black cardstock, orange twine, and part of a Capri Sun straw).

Witches Brew

Is everyone ready for Halloween???? I have already had to replace  some of the candy as I have a bit of a sweet tooth. I know I am bad right. Poor kids. I know I will end up eating some of my daughters candy as she is a sucker and smarties kind of gal.

Well this is a creation I made in honor of Halloween. I really loved making this tea bag holder.

I just had to use these two stamps for the tea bag holder.

Sunflowers

Welcome to another release week. I am extremely excited for this release  for this month as I love fall colors and pumpkins. Especially my pumpkin spice lattes!!! Fall is so fun!

I kept my card simple using two of our newest stamps

Sunflower Frame (H232) and Gratitude (D451)

I colored the sunflower with copics and then embellished the card with a gold ribbon. I also used some sunflower paper from Bo Bunny's fall collection from last year.

Here is a close up. I really love this card and how it turned out.

Pumpkins

Welcome to a fun fall Monday. Did everyone have a good weekend?

Of course it is fall now and well winter in some places and still nice in sunny in others. 

Where I am at they started putting up the pumpkin patches. I cannot wait to get some. I think we will be doing a pumpkin a week in my house. I just love the smell and carving them is so fun!

So for my card this week I used the stamp

The papers are from the new Bo Bunny Apple Cider line. I love these papers. I also used some jute string. I used a small large scallop rectangle for my copic colored image. 

I am so excited with the upcoming holidays. I guess they are always more fun when you have kids because you want to bake and decorate and get into the spirit. 

So I hope this inspires you to get into the fall mood!

Harvest Cart

Hey everyone. I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. Is it starting to cool off where you are?? It has cooled down just a bit here in Vegas and it is starting to slide into fall here. 

So for the fall season coming about here is a card I made using

Of course as always the image is colored with copics. I used a piece of Bo Bunny paper and some gold ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon. I kept this card very simple with a great easy to do bow!

It's Release Week Again!!!!

Good morning and happy Monday. I hope all is well with everyone. Is everyone settling back in to school right now? I know I have been enjoying seeing the back to school projects all over.

Well today I am using my favorite, blue. What's your favorite color????

Once again I am using a Great Impression Stamp from their new release.

Duck Feet (F531) and On Your Feet Soon (C437)

I used some new Bo Bunny papers, some orange twine, and inked my edges with walnut stain or frayed burlap distress ink. 

Here is a close up of the glitter. I love how the Sky Blue water colored makes the water look. I added Orange to the ducks feet so they looked somewhat wet.

Celebration

Hello everyone. Happy Monday. Shanna here with a new card to show you for the week.

Sorry for the delay in getting this post up. Had some complications with storms and internet and light for photos. I know bad Shanna!!!!

I used one of our newer stamps recently released called Party Ducks (G548).

I colored the image in my all time favorite copics and then some papers from My Mind's Eye but I have no clue what the name of the paper pad is. Bad right.... It was really an off weekend for me and my brain is fried from all this lightening!!!

How is everyone this fine Monday. Are you excited for release week to get on a roll and see some new stamps? This week we have a new addition of stamps available in-store and great for going back to school themes and teacher projects or even just to have to give your kid a stamp for doing great.

For cardstock I used an older My Mind's Eye paper pad that was boyish. I colored the stamps with copics and used kraft cardstock for the base color to go along with the feel of the card. 

I kept it really simple for you for our release we have going on. Come back tomorrow to check out another new stamp from Great Impressions newest collection.

Simple Life From the New Release

Hey everyone. Shanna here with a new card for the release this week.

I used some fun summer paper and a couple dies. The circle and scalloped circle are from spellbinder. The border die is from MFT. The sentiment was punched out using a circle punch I believe although it may have been a die. I colored the image with copics and had a blast glazing the jars. Mason jars are great for everything aren't they.

Get Well Wishes

Good Morning everyone Shanna here!!!! Kind of. I am sorry if nothing makes sense. I had some allergy problems that turned into a nasty sinus infection. I am suppose to be at the emergency room but who in their right mind has money for that!!!! 

Well today I was a little off I thought this was going to be our release week.... 

SO TUNE IN NEXT WEEK FOR OUR NEWEST RELEASE!!!!

So I know I had this on my blog last week and figured I could share it with all you Great Impression lovers out there. It definitely fits the what I need right about now. 

For my card I used the stamp  Well Wishes (F447) and some flowers that were white I sprayed with some Tattered Angels Mist and Fireworks spray and mounted to the card using black brads.  I have no clue where I got the trim in the background but I think it was from Really Reasonable Ribbon. I used a spellbinder label die and some Stampin' Up blue ink to ink around the image. I also used a walnut stain on the edges to darken the yellow paper. 

Well I hope everyone is having a great start to their week!

Life's a Beach

How is everyones Monday starting off??? Mine is off to a great start. I got some new crafty goodies and learned a few new techniques and made a few more projects. I think I will start saying I had a great Shanna kind of weekend lol. Is everyone excited now that CHA is over and the newest goodies are starting to roll out???

Well it is almost August which means a new release and challenge is coming your way.

So here is a little peek from our last release. I couldn't resist doing another summer theme card as it is still in the 100's here when it is not raining.

I used Life's a Beach (e761) with some Fancy Pants or Echo Park paper. 

I didn't do too much just wanted something simple. I am working on my masculine ideas since I am due with a little man of my own at the end of the year. When your use to girlie boy is it hard. 

Well hope you have been inspired for a last minute reach at wanting some summer fun!

Get your rain boots

Hello everyone. Big Happy Monday to all those out there reading this. 

Well it is Shanna here to share with you a fun springy summer card. I have been dying to use this stamp since I got it and I finally decided to use it with all the rainstorms we have been getting here in Vegas. (Yes it rains in Vegas - sometimes lol!)

For my card I am using the stamp When it rains (F448). 

 Here is a picture of the whole card. I used some MME papers, and a scalloped rectangle with some blue inking.

Here is a shot of the flowers I painted and stacked up. I had to do a few layers  to get a really good bold color and the shine is just amazing and the colors go so well with the paper.
