For that special friend...

Hello!!!!  Sue here --Today is sleep-in Saturday for most of you. I hope you are enjoying a nice, restful day! What a lucky bunch you are!!!!

Formula:  A pretty sentiment + pretty papers=a quick, clean and simple creation.  I love this wonderful sentiment, perfect for a special friend!!!  I made this card using a one-piece-card silhouette cut. I added a punched flower and some twine and it was done in a flash. .

You can see the front panel opens up all in one piece!

Etsy Summer Inspired Card

Whew! Did you feel May breeze by? I'm hoping the days slow down a bit and warm up!
Yay for sunshine and summer break!

And for Etsy...I found a darling pendant that inspired today's card. Love the two-toned background, the pop of color and the gleam of metal.

This came together so easily using Great Impressions Stamps!

The black satin crinkled ribbon was hard to photograph. IRL the texture is just right!
Love making my own backgrounds! You can do the same using these stamps:

Rose Trio (stamped in Vintage Photo Distress Ink)
Butterfly Flourish (stamped in Peacock Distress Ink)
Butterfly Frame (stamped and cut out the butterfly)
A Flower (the sentiment)

Today's the last day to link up your project for this month's challenge - Anything Goes! Scroll to the bottom of the post to link up! Good luck!
