When It Rains

Good Tuesday Morning, Donna Here!

Today we're taking a walk down Memory Lane.  I get to re-share one of my favorite Great Impressions cards that I have made from my time as a Design Team Member.

Here's my first one, more to come next month.

I used the F448 When It Rains stamp set.  I adore this sentiment with these sweet little rain boots!  Sentiment and image stamped using Tuxedo Black Ink and colored with Copic Markers.  I added a wee bit of Sakura Glitter Pens to some of the boot accents, they give it a subtle sparkle.

Classic and Scalloped Circle dies layered on top of a doily.  Corner Tabs, Enamel Dots, Black & White Gingham Ribbon, Jute Twine and a little silver heart charm as an accent.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Enjoy~~

Autumn Tree

Happy Tuesday!

Donna here to share a pretty Fall card I made using the Great Impressions Stamp  H233 Autumn Tree.

I stamped the image and then cut it out using a Vertical Frame die.  Taking several Fall colors of Copic Markers I added color to the leaves to mimic the beautiful New England Foliage we typically experience.  The jury is still out if we will get our pretty colors this year as our summer was so dry.

I also added a handful of Adhesive Rhinestones in the Fall colors to add some pizazz!  A bit of shear ribbon for accent and my card was complete.

There's still plenty of time for you to join in on our Monthly Challenge, For The Kids.  And when you use your Great Impressions Stamps feel free to link up your creation into our Customer Gallery.

Thanks so much for dropping by, we love it when you do!

Fence With Flowers

Donna here, Happy Tuesday!

My card for today uses the fabulous GI Stamps;  G527 Fence With Flowers and C270 Butterfly Trio.

I initially wanted to make this card a 'gate fold' and use the fence as the gate portion, but when I saw a 'joy fold' card I knew this would work just as well.  The base of the card measures 4.5" x 7" and is scored at the 5" mark.  The insert measures 3.5" x 7" and is scored at the 3.5" mark.  The butterfly in the top right is mounted on Classic and Scallop Circle dies, then pop dots were added to the top portion, this lets the corner of the focal image tuck right under and keep closed.

Images colored with Copic Markers.  Hi-lights were given to the flower centers and butterflies using Sakura Glitter and Glaze Pens.

Border Punch and Corner Tabs used for accents.  The Butterfly Trio were masked and stamped separately, all 3 were used.

What I love about this Fence With Flowers image is that you can control the season by adjusting your colors.  Summer brights, the warm colors of Fall, add some snow for a winter scene.  It's all possible!

Thanks for joining me today.  Remember our Great Impressions Monthly Challenge , For The Kids, has begun.  When using our wonderful Great Impressions stamps don't forget to link your creations up to our Customer Gallery!

She Leaves A Little Sparkle.....

Good Tuesday Morning!

My card uses the Great Impressions stamp, E880 Sparkle.....it's totally fabulous, right?!?!  I began by sponging some Daffodil Delight ink on my card stock and then spritzing with Glimmer Mist in Crimson.  When it all dried I heat embossed the sentiment using a white glitter embossing powder.  It's hard to see the glitter on the sentiment from here, but trust me it's there!

This card is totally flat and will need no extra postage, so angling the card in this manner adds a bit more interest.

To create the glittery flourishes I used a fancy flourish die and took the negative, this became my template.  I placed it on each corner and with a 2 Way Zig Pen I added glue, sprinkled on my glitter and then heat set them.

We have a new Monthly Challenge going on, so come on over and play! And don't forget to upload your Great Impressions creations to our Customer Gallery.  At the end of the year we will do some giveaways to say THANK YOU to all of our loyal customers!  How cool is that?!?!  And trust me, year end is coming quick!!!

Thanks so much for dropping by......may you all leave a little sparkle as you go!  ;)

Enjoy~~

Flower Flyer

Good Tuesday Morning.......Happy September!

This Fall card has a sweet little wagon full of sweet little flowers.  It was created using the Great Impressions stamp G327 Flower Flyer.  I am thinking I should get a wagon for Spring planting in my gardens, might save some wear and tear on my back....and wouldn't it be so cute pulling a little red wagon throughout my yard?  YES!!!

Swiss Dots Embossing Folder for texture, double stitched ribbon, button and twine bows for accents. I also framed my image, which was colored with Copic Markers, using a corner tab punch.

Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Don't forget our new Monthly Challenge begins on Sunday, September 6th, pop on back and check it out.

Thanks so much for rolling by!

I wanted to keep the color palette of orange and yellow to match my daisies.  It's bright and happy, fun and sunshiny!  Images colored with Copic Markers as well as the Adhesive Pearls.

Sakura Glitter and Glaze Pens in silver, orange and green for accents as well as a fabulous flourish.

Life Is Art

Happy Tuesday!

Back again today with a happy little card!

I absolutely LOVE this sentiment, E792 Life Is Art.   I wanted the sentiment to stand out, so I made a background using the Masking Tape Technique;  placing masking tape on your ink pad and smoothing down, then applying the inked tape to your card stock.  I wanted to make you feel that this creation was a piece of art hanging on a wall.  Ribbon and little bows and pearl accents.

Still a little bit of time to get in on our Monthly Challenge, To Use Your Favorite Stamp!  And when you use your favorite Great Impressions stamp link it right to our Customer Gallery, where at the end of the year you could win some fabulous prizes just for being a loyal customer!
