So Thankful For You ...

Good Evening! Oops! I forgot to hit publish.  Ruza here to share one of the cards I made last year at this time using stamps from Great Impressions Stamps.

Today's card features the adorable stamp called Scarecrow & Crow (G345). I stamped this adorable stamp, colored it with my Copic Markers, and applied distress ink around the image. Once done I cut it out with one of my dies, layered it on my DP background, and then I stamped the So Thankful for You Sentiment (B193) and some bling.

The November Great Impressions Challenge is live so make sure you stop by for all of the details, and if you use some Great Impressions Stamps make sure you link them up in our Customer Gallery!

Until next week ... Enjoy!

So Thankful for You...

Good morning!

This is my first post as a Design Team member for Great Impressions Stamps, and I'm so pleased to be here sharing with you!
I've been stamping with GI stamps for many years - they were among the first I owned!
I'll be posting a new GI post each Saturday - hope you will drop by and visit!

I've had this sweet image for a long time, and have used it often.  Yesterday, while debating on what to create, I decided to go with something 'thankful' for an after-Christmas greeting.
However, a single layer for easy mailing was also necessary, so here's what I did:

The image and sentiment were stamped where I imagined a floor and wall to be.
After stamping the image, the 'floor', 'baseboard', and 'photo frame', were drawn lightly in pencil. All coloring on the focal panel was done prior to finishing the image.  The image was stamped on blue, tan, and white, colored, fussy cut, and adhered to image - lots of paper piecing took place.

Voila!  A one-layer card was born, that has a fun dimensional look.
Give it a try sometime!

Be sure to check out the Great Impressions Blog, for daily inspiration from the GI team!
Be sure to enter our January Challenge - it will begin tomorrow!
If you create with any Great Impressions stamps, be sure to link up in the Customer Gallery!
Check out the Great Impressions Store for some wonderful crafty goodness - and did you know that shipping is free if you spend more than $25.00????

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hugs & blessings,

Friday Fun Trio!

Hello Everybody!

Katy here today, and I am going to show you a fun way to use this beautiful Flowery Butterfly Stamp from the Great Impressions Online Store.

I love this butterfly!  And I absolutely love it in all colors!  So I made a little trio of cards using the butterfly stamp and using different sentiments.  The cards are 4 inches by 4 inches.  And I tried to do a little something different with each card.

Here are the stamps that I used for all 3 cards:  E843 Flowery Butterfly Stamp, B151 A Little Hello, B240 Sweet Happy Birthday, and B193 So Thankful for You.

The first card has the blue mat and it is embossed with little polka dots.  The 2nd card has a bow and the white panel is pop dotted.  The 3rd card has a regular purple mat.

Thank you for stopping by!  Don't forget to check us out on Facebook and Pinterest.  And there is still time to join our Happy Birthday Challenge, too! :)
