Happy 4th of July!

Since it's July 4th, I decided to make a traditional red white and blue card.

I love this wonderful lighthouse scene. It's so much fun to color.

Embossed Rose Card

 The roses really sparkle in real life.  Here's a close up.

I just received this gorgeous floral stamp in the mail and decided to make

a very elegant card. I stamped with Versamark ink, then added

fine detail gold embossing powder and went over it with my heat gun.

I love this adorable kitty peeking out from his flower pot. I stamped with Versafine ink

then colored with Prismacolor pencils. Cut out image with Nestabilties dies.

Cut out border and talk bubble with Fiskars punches. Added ribbon, flowers and pearls.

I love this pretty tulip stamp. It's one of my all time favorites.

  I think this adorable quilt stamp will be perfect to use on their cards.

  I stamped the main image onto white cardstock, then onto designer paper.

Cut out the little quilt pieces and attached to main image.

The design team is making cards with a pop up theme this week.

I have spring fever real bad now that the weather is getting warmer so I picked this adorable tulip stamp as my focal point. The layer with the tulips is mounted on pop dots to give it extra dimension.

My craft room

I've been asked what my craft room looks like so I thought I would share some photos of my work space and my storage system.

I started out using a small table, a lateral filing cabinet to hold my cardstock and paper, 3 rolling carts and a tall plastic cabinet. This wasn't working very well for me so my dear hubby went to Home Depot and bought some white cabinets, peg board and a counter top. I store my dies, embellishments by color in plastic containers, sewing stuff, envelopes etc in the upper cabinets and my 3 ring binders that hold my clear and ezmount rubber stamps in the tall white cabinet. Also store stamp sets in cd cases on the counter top and along side the tall white cabinet. Most of my ribbon is wrapped around spring type clothespins and stored in glass jars. My coloring supplies, watercolor paper, finished cards and ink pads/refills are stored in the tall tan plastic cabinet.

Free Stickables Storage Solution

Hi everyone,

Hope your having a good weekend. I found a free stamp storage idea that I thought I would pass on.

I have a Sizzix BigKick machine and bought some new plates for it recently. Opened the package this morning and a light bulb went off. The package is the perfect depth to store my Great Impressions Stickable stamps. And it has a hole in the top of the package so I can hang it on my peg board.

Love that's it's free and I can recycle it instead of throwing it out.

Some Bunny Loves You

Here's a quicky and easy Valentines day card using the adorable Bunny Love stamp and the paper piecing technique.

(I stamped the white layer with bunny image then stamped another one on a scrap piece of white cardstock. Then I stamped the image again on pink. Cut out pink heart and attached to main white image. Then cut out bunny and attached to pink layer.)
