Spiral Thanks.

Hello Everyone!

I hope you're having a great day.  I am here to share a card I made using some super fun stamps from Great Impressions. I used Retro Spirals stamp to create a fun background on a Kraft card base. I really like the effect of stamping colored ink on Kraft; but I think you have to choose the right colors to get a good result. I chose a dark blue, purple and green.  I added the white swirls myself with a white gel pen just to fill in some of the empty space and I also liked the white on the Kraft as well. I added some stickles to the centers of each of the spirals for a little sparkle.

For the sentiment panel I wanted to do something simple so as to keep the focus on the background.  I used Tags Stamps which has a variety of sentiments in it. I chose the thank you stamp which I stamped in purple on white card stock and then layered it on to some Navy blue and dark green card stock as shown. I added some faux white stitching lines and then rounded the corners to finish off the card.

Friday Fun-Halloween Decorations

Happy Halloween Everybody!

So today is the big day! :)  It's Katy, and it's time for me to share my Halloween decoration with you using Great Impressions Stamps.

This is a paper pumpkin made out of paper strips.  I used my stamps to embellish the outside of this little pumpkin.  I think it is good by itself, or if you made a  few of them they would be cute together.  This little pumpkin also acts as a vessel for goodies.  You can put candy in the middle!

I used these stamps:  E551 Too Cute Pumpkins, A134 Halloween Greetings, C406 Little Ghost, E645 Retro Spirals.

Friday Fun with a Mixed Media Layout

Hello!  I have been in a mixed media mood.  So I got out my Great Impressions stamps, some ink, and stencils and went to town!

For this layout I used these awesome stamps: K94 Distressed Background, E645 Retro Spirals, E492 Twirly Background, and C313 Retro Happy Birthday.

I love how versatile these stamps are!  The Retro Happy Birthday stamps helps the title go from just Photo Booth to Happy Birthday Photo Booth.  So fun!  For more details on this layout you can stop by here.
