Sled Friends

Hi, everyone!  It's Monday, so that means it's time for me to share another card using fabulous stamps from the Great Impressions online store!  I've got another fun holiday card to share with you today...take a peek...

I started my focal panel by stamping G511 Snow Drifts in a blue ink, then layering the main image over it.  I just ADORE this fun image, G387 Sleigh Friends.  I think it is super fun--and could be used for generic winter cards, too!  The sentiment is part of F249 Warmest Greetings.

I added some velvet ribbon and a punched and layered snowflake to the side to help anchor the main panel.  I really think this turned out to be super cute, and I could send it in January as a New Year's greeting if it doesn't get used as a Christmas card this year!  What do you think?  I'd love to hear in the comments below!

That's all for me today, friends.  THANK YOU so much for stopping by to take a peek at my card!  I also would love for you to come and join our monthly challenge!  If you use a stamp from the Great Impressions online store, please link it up in our Customer Gallery, too!  Until next time, HUGS and happy stamping, friends! :)

Christmas Tag

Hey, y'all!  I hope everyone is having a great week and a wonderful day!  I'm back today with another creation using stamps from the Great Impressions online store!  Today I've got a Christmas tag to share with you--it's NEVER too early to start holiday crafting!!!

More detail photos can be found on my personal blog HERE.

For my focal panel, I did a little collage stamping with G140 Pine Branch and D281 Berry Sprig.  I find that when I do collage stamping, it's best to employ generational stamping as well.  This adds more texture to your panel.  I finished this portion of the tag by sponging the edges and adding part of F249 Warmest Greetings, embossed in sparkly black, as my sentiment.  A few pearls were the perfect elegant accent to highlight this beautiful sentiment.

After that, all that was left was to add my stamped and embossed panel to the glittery red tag base!  Some black stitched ribbon tied in the black sentiment and matting from the tag.  I love the final product!  I'm one tag closer to being done with my holiday crafting now! ;)

Thanks so much for stopping by to take a peek at my creation!  Hop over to  play along with our monthly challenge, too!  If you use stamps from Great Impressions, you'll be able to link up your creation in our Customer Gallery, too!  HUGS and happy stamping to you all!

Warmest Greetings

Hello friends!! I hope you all had a great Christmas time and have the best plans for the coming year! First, I want to say thank you to "Great Impressions" for the chance they give to be a Guest Designer and then part of the Design Team, it has been a fantastic time.
Second, this is my last post as a Design Team Member, sure I will miss you all,  as I say before I have some other plans hopefully everything will be as I am planning it would be ;)

So, now with my last project, I used Warmest Greetings Stamp, stamped it on a piece of Ivory Cardstock in Versamark Watermark ink, then added Gold Embossing powder and heat set it. Then I die-cut, embossed and stenciled it with Nestabilities Labels Fourteen. The background piece was made with Gold Majesty Circles Dies, I used Gold Cardstock, added the sentiment in there and add clear rhinestones.
Finally I added a couple of strips of patterned paper.

Hope you like it!
Once again, thanks so much for having me here and wishing you the best in the New Year 2014!
Hugs!!
