Happy Hello

Hey everyone! I have a cheerful (and very pink!) card to share today. I pulled out Whimsical Mushrooms again, this time using a pink/blue/orange color scheme. The patterned paper has been in my stash for a long time... one of the first lines I picked up from Crate Paper.

I love line art images because of their versatility... I can color them to match patterned paper, ribbon... the sky is the limit!

Toadally.......

Yep, I toadally appreciate all of my friends out there that stopped by today to say Hello! Yesireeeee, today is my Great Impressions jammie day! I love getting my post all ready to go, and then visiting blogs on Saturday mornings in my jammies!  I don't have to get up and go to work in the morning, so I can lollygag over all the fun creations out there!

Today I am showing you a new release from September release stamps from Great Impressions.  There are really  3 stamps that compliment each other, but unfortunately I only had the Happy Frog and the Whimsical Mushrooms, but you can see the matching sentiment here.

I colored the images  with my copics, added some googly eyes and a couple of punched flowers over the flowers that are in the stamped image. I cut the sentiment out with my Silhouette using a font named Good Dog Cool. Fun, huh?

Cheerful Mushrooms

Hi everybody! I am sharing another new release stamp today. It is super cute & really fun to color. 

I used Copic markers to color the mushrooms, and accented them with stickles (which is hard to see in the photo; sorry about that). Before I adhered the buttons to my card, I threaded them with brown and white bakers twine. I tied a knot on the back, then adhered them using glue dots. I love the look of threaded buttons, but i am way too lazy to actually sow them onto my card. :-)
