Just the two of us...

It's another weekend - happy Saturday, everyone!

With Valentine's Day coming up soon, I thought it would be fun to showcase some of the Great Impressions 'Heart' stamps.

Today's card uses 'The Two of Us - C395, and 'Love Chicks' - B189.

How'd I do this?
1. Draw pencil lines lightly across the 5" x 5" piece of cardstock.
2. Lightly pencil around the red scalloped circle mat, for placement of sentiments.
3. Using Stamp-a-ma-jig, stamp the sentiment on each line.
4. Color the image, and add a dash of color to each sentiment's 'heart'.
5. Adhere the image to the red scalloped circle mat.
6. Mat the focal panel with black and red, and adhere to the 5.5" x 5.5" card base
7. Adhere the image to card front, using dimensional foam.

Easy, peasy!  Give it a try!  We'd love to see which stamps you use for
'whatever this technique is'!!!

Thanks for stopping by today.  I'll be back next Saturday to share
another creation using stamps from the Great Impressions Store!  Be sure to
check back here at the blog each day for loads of inspiration!  There's still time
to enter our monthly challenge 'Snow Friends', HERE - can't wait to see your creations!

A couple of cute chicks!

Good morning!

Today is my day to post for the Great Impressions Stamps Blog.
This has been such an incredibly fun month, so far!

I signed up this month to do a Card Swap with Bazzill Papers.  I made ten Valentine's Cards, using the papers that were sent to me.  As soon as I saw the papers, I knew without a doubt, that I wanted to use these cute chicks on my cards!

Stamps: Great Impressions B189 'Love Chicks', D364 "Happy Valentines and Flowers', Bazzill Basics 'Red Devil' DP, Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, Copic Markers, Black Colorbok Cardstock

This was an easy card to create - DH actually cut strips of cardstock for me while I colored...
how cool is that?  And seriously, how can you look at these darling chicks, and that
delightful sentiment without smiling?

Don't forget - you can be the next Guest Designer at the Great Impressions Stamps Blog!
You still have lots of time to take part in the January challenge.  Check out this post for all of the fun details!  What a great experience this has been - these ladies have all welcomed me so warmly.

Thanks for stopping by today.
Hugs,
Patti J.
