Christmas in July

I've seen so many wonderful holiday cards lately on Christmas in July blog posts.
They have really inspired me to get started early on my holiday cards.
I love this happy snowman holding his little birdie friend.
For my layout, I used a style called a Center Step Card.
I paper pieced the hat, scarf and buttons.
Then added a computer printed saying and some punched snowflakes.

Supplies used
Great Impressions Stamp:
Versafine Onyx Black Ink
White Cardstock
The Paper Studio - Snowflake Paper
Pink Dot Lettering Delight Paper  (for paper pieced items)
Prismacolor Pencils:
Yellowed Orange, Orange, Denim Blue
Light Cerulean Blue, Light Umber, Dark Umber
Makeup (powder blusher) and Q-tip to apply to cheeks
Marvy Uchida Liquid Applique (for hat and poms on scarf)
Silhouette Machine
Centered Step Card Cutting File is a free download from the
Silhouette Plus Forum.  File was designed by Very Crafty 2.
Saying is computer printed then cut out with Nestabilities.
Spellbinders Nestabilities:
Petite Ovals
Long Classic Rectangles Small
Long Classic Scalloped Rectangles Small
EK Success Snowflake Punch
Pearls, Pom Pom, Glue Dots, Adhesive

I love how you used the liquid appliqué on this card, Deloris! This is super cute.

I'm not ready to think about the winter holidays just yet - I'm enjoying the rest of the summer! lol
