Another Little Reminder

Hello All,

Robin here to remind you of our April Challenge.  This is the card I made.

The challenge this month is

For this I have used three different stamps.  The first is Whimsical Clouds (G426).  I stamped it onto plain white card stock.  Then I used Rainy Day Harry (F605).  I stamped him onto the clouds and onto a separate paper.  I colored him with Copic markers and added Glastique to give him a real raincoat and boots look.  He is then fussy cut without the rain and placed onto the cloud paper. I also added Glastique to the rain.  Finally I used the sentiment Under the Weather E866.  I stamped this onto some of the cloud paper.

After the images were done I used a rose embossing folder and colored the flowers lightly.  Then a single flower in the opposite two corners with a pearl in the center.  I really like how this turned out.  I hope you do too.

For this month the stamp you could win is a real cutie!

I do hope to see you in the challenge this month.  Have a fabulous day!

Hugs,

Rainy Day Harry say's Hello ...

Good morning! Ruza here to share a friendship card featuring F605 Rainy Day Harry and B152 Hello Friend, available at the Great Impressions Stamps.

I stamped the adorable Rainy Day Harry with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, cut him out with my circle Nestabilities die and colored him up with my Copic Markers. I stamped an extra copy and colored only the umbrella, fussy cut it out, and used 3D tape to pop it up. A White Gelly Roll pen was used to add the dots to Harry's raincoat and boots.

Once my card was put together I applied Glossy Accents to the raindrops in the image, then I added more raindrops sporadically on the umbrella and the green flag.

Using StazOn Black Ink I stamped the sentiment on Clear Cardstock, cut it to size, and used Glossy Accents to layer it over my colored image. Final step was to add the green enamel dots to my design.

That is all for me today. I will be back next week with another project featuring some amazing stamps from Great Impressions! I hope you will check out and play along with this months Great Impressions Challenge. Remember, if you use some Great Impressions stamps make sure you link them up in our Customer Gallery!

Until next week ... Enjoy!

Rainy Day

Hi there! Today I have a fun rainy day card using a super cute image called F605 Rainy Day Harry.

I watercolored the image using Tombow markers and a #4 round Winsor and Newton brush. For my sentiment I used the G483 Tags and selectively inked only the sentiment. My Tombow markers are also great for this!

Be sure to join us in this month's challenge (click!) and if you use any GI stamps be sure to link up to the customer gallery (click!). Be sure to stop by the Great Impressions store (click!) and maybe treat yourself to a few new images...did you know shipping is free over $25?!

April Showers...

Hello again, friends!  I'm back with another card using stamps from the Great Impressions online store!  Today I'm featuring a fun spring image that I know you'll love as much as I do!  Come and take a peek...

I used F605 Rainy Day Harry as my focal image.  He was colored in with Spectrum Noir markers.  I think that a yellow raincoat is a fabulous choice--it reminds me of the raincoat I had as a child!  And hedgehogs are just so fun, don't you think?  Plus, come on!  That little birdie!!!

My sentiment, B195 Playful Thinking of You, was stamped and then punched and layered to look like a flower.  Because, you know, April showers bring May flowers! ;)

All of my elements were layered onto my card base and more layered flowers and leaves were added to finish it up.  I think this is so sweet--I hope you agree!  Please let me know what you think in the comments below!

That's all for me today!  I'll be back next Monday with another creation using stamps from the Great Impressions store.  I hope you join in our current challenge, and, if you use Great Impressions stamps, link them up in our Customer Gallery, too!  HUGS and happy stamping to you all!

A Little Birdie...

Happy Saturday!

These stamps seem to be pretty popular here on the blog this week!

It's fun how none of us know what the other is working on, and so many
times, we are thinking alike!  As it's raining here this week, I thought
this little feller would cheer us up!

My card uses these Great Impressions stamps:

In this photo, you can see that I added Glossy Accents to the umbrella, boots, and raindrops.

So, you all know 'that moment' when the card is totally finished, and you think 'I just need to add one more little thing', and that one little thing goes wrong?  Yep!  I know you know what I mean! Look closely at Harry's really BIG eye!
I used some liquid enamel, and just as I got near the eye, it went BLURB
...all over the place!  Oh well, maybe he's excited about his new Birdie friend!

Thanks for stopping by today!

Don't forget - about the GI challenges!
