Spring Scene

Hi, friends!  I am back today to share a new card using stamps from the Great Impressions online store!  My card today features a fun stamp that needs no sentiment, but it could go either way.  I chose to go with NO sentiment!  Take a peek...

This image is H267 Potted Flowers.  I stamped it and colored it with Spectrum Noir markers.  I then added some glitter, glossy accents, rhinestones, and a bit of faux stitching for more texture.

I then matted the focal panel with black cardstock.  After doing that, I added the panel to a kraft card base that was prepped with some fun polka dot paper.  I LOVE the way this turned out, and I hope you do, too!  I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments below! :)

That's all for me today, friends.  THANK YOU so much for stopping by to take a peek at my card!  I also would love for you to come and join our monthly challenge!  If you use a stamp from the Great Impressions online store, please link it up in our Customer Gallery, too!  Until next time, HUGS and happy stamping, friends! :)

Hello Friend ...

Good morning! Ruza here to share a Spring card. According to Mr. Ground Hog we are going to have an early Spring. Hoping the prediction comes true I pulled out my H267 Potted Flowers and B152 Hello Friend, available at the Great Impressions Stamps.

I stamped the Potted Flowers on Strathmore Watercolor Paper using Marvy Le Plume II Markers as my ink. I proceeded to apply water to draw out the colors, and added more. Once done I used my pierced dies to cut the image out, along with some stitched dies for the background.

I love this stamp and had a blast coloring this image in with my watercolor markers.

Using StazOn Black Ink I stamped the sentiment on Clear Cardstock, cut it out with my punch, and used the Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher to layer it over my colored image.

Final step was to use 3D Foam Tape to add my panel to the background design. I love how the softness of my panel pops against the background.

That is all for me today. I will be back next week with another project featuring some amazing stamps from Great Impressions! I hope you will check out the New Great Impressions Challenge starting this Sunday, and if you use some Great Impressions stamps make sure you link them up in our Customer Gallery!

Until next week ... Enjoy!

Happy Birthday

Good morning, and Happy Saturday!

Today, I'm sharing a card I made using Great Impressions stamps.
I think you'll like this one - I think it turned out quite nicely.

To create this card, I used the following Great Impressions stamps:

To create this card, the image was colored with Copic markers.
I then cut from the bottom and from the top with a paper trimmer, in to the image, and fussy cut the bottom of the pots and the tops of the flowers and butterfly, leaving a 'split' panel.
Next, this panel was matted with a piece of patterned paper, and then adhered to the card front.
The sentiment was stamped directly onto the patterned paper, and fussy cut.
A few tiny 'blings' were added for fun.
The border at the top was one that Deone, the owner, included in my last stamp order.
The border both balanced the black bling at the bottom, AND hid a boo boo at the top.
Lol...creative opportunity, right?
