Revisiting Sunshine ...

Good morning! Today we are revisiting a card that was created by Leah Cornelius and features the lovely Sunshine Happiness Love (G484) and Flitting Butterflies (A32) available at Great Impressions Stamps.

Leah did a beautiful job showcasing these stamps. I just love her coloring and the clean and simple design of her card. She only used one of the butterflies and added the trail with a multi-liner pen.

Our Great Impressions March Challenge is live! Hop on over for all of the details, and join in the FUN! We can't wait to see what you create this month!

Tulip Baby

Hello stamping friends! Leah with you today and I have a super sweet baby card to share with you.

This image is F604 Baby Chick in Tulip and is so cute! I colored it using Copics and on my background panel stamped some butterflies for the little chick to be looking at. The butterflies are A 149 Dainty Butterfly and A32 Flitting Butterflies.
I added a bit of clear glitter pen to the butterflies and tulip to give a little sparkle and added a twine bow. Thanks for stopping by today! Come and join our monthly challenge!  If you use a stamp from the Great Impressions online store, please link it up in our Customer Gallery, too!

Sunshine, Happiness, Love

Hello! Leah here today and I have a fun card to share with you using some Great Impressions stamps.

I pulled out the pretty G484 Sunshine, Happiness, Love image and stamped it onto watercolor paper and watercolored it. After I was done with the image I felt it needed a bit something so I pulled out A32 Flitting Butterflies and selectively inked just one of the butterflies and then with a micron pen added in the flight trail.

I decided to create a nail polish holder.

For the sentiment I used one of the stamps from the G483 Tags set!

Fall Watering Can

Hello Great Impressions fans :) Leah with you today. Are the leaves changing where you are? We don't have a lot of trees that change where I live, but we do have a few and they are very pretty. In my front yard we have a big maple tree and it's my favorite. For my card I pulled out the sweet Watering Can of Flowers (D362) image and made a fall card.

I also added some butterflies using the Flitting Butterflies (A32) and my sentiment is called Playful Thinking of You ( B195). I colored my image with Copic markers. I hope you like it!

Autumnal Flowers

Hello stamping friends! Leah joining you today! I don't know about you but I can hardly believe we are into the month of September. I have to admit fall is not my favorite season but I can deal with it a lot better when flowers are involved :) So I pulled out a pretty floral stamp and chose some autumn colors to ring in the season.

My flower image is called Watercolor Flowers (H255) and to color them that's just what I did using my Tombow markers. After they were colored and dry I fussy cut them and layered them together. For my sentiment I used the Tags (G483) set and to add a bit of interest and not totally let go of summer added some Flitting Butterflies (A32).

Sticky Note Holder

Hi there stamping friends, Leah joining you today! This week at the Great Impressions blog we are creating non-card or tag projects that you could use to thank a teacher. I wanted to give something that would be useful but not cliche teacher...I'm not so sure most teachers appreciate all things apples and school buses ;) I am fairly sure though that a pretty place to have handy post-it notes and a pen would be appreciated, even by an apple loving teacher.

I started by using my Silhouette Cameo to cut the super cute post-it note easel holder with room to house a pen. After cutting all my pieces I knew I wanted to pretty it up with some stamps (of course!) on the front flap. So I pulled out the pretty little Rose Bud (A146) and colored them with Copics. I trimmed them all out along with stamping and trimming out a couple of Flag Banner images (E846)

My sentiment is flanked by a couple of butterflies from Flitting Butterflies (A32) and my sentiment is from the Tags (G483) set. I think these would make great gifts not only for teacher but for friends and family...and I think I'll be making myself one as well.

Birthday Girl

Hello stamping friends! Leah joining you today and I have a sweet girly birthday card for you! This image is so sweet and was lovely to color.

This is a brand new image from the Great Impressions Stamps store called Birthday Gracie (G506). I colored her with Copics and played around with having her wear a white dress. For my sentiment I used the very versatile Tags (G483) set. Around the sentiment I added some butterflies using Flitting Butterflies (A32). I added some rolled felt flowers, die cuts and some machine sewing. I hope you'll join us in this month's challenge (click!) If you use some of your Great Impressions stamps be sure to link up to the customer gallery here.
I hope you have a sweet day!

Lollipop Flowers

Hello! Leah here today and I am sharing a project with you that isn't a card or tag :) The theme is something summery and to me when the weather finally warms up where I live my garden is the first thing on my mind. So this fun little project is what I came up with!

Looking through my Great Impressions Stamps I knew this adorable Watering Can of Flowers (D362) was the perfect image to use! I cut a cake pop or lollipop holder using my Silhouette and made some flower lollipops to go along with my watering can image. I colored the image with Copics and added the sweet Flitting Butterflies (A32) to my panel. I then used a paper piercer  to pierce holes all the way around my panel and hand stitched the boarder with some embroidery floss. I hope you enjoy my summery project! I can tell you my daughter loved it and after the lollipops were eaten the holder and flowers now live with her :) Have a beautiful day!
