Smiling Whale ...

Good morning and Happy Wednesday! Ruza here to share another project featuring the awesome Great Impressions Stamps.

I had a card to make for my daughter to mail out and decided on this adorable Smiling Whale (G373) stamp. I pulled out one of my Tri-fold Notecards. This way my daughter will have a lot of room for to do her thing.

I did some water coloring for this project. I'm still learning my way but I think the recipient will love it. For the ocean I water colored the blue, stamped the Water Swirl Border (H200) with white pigment ink, and then cut the top for the swirls.

I added a 1/4" border of water colored paper along the bottom of each fold, and added the Just Floating (E648) sentiment stamp on the first fold.

This card will actually be used as a Thank you card to some very special people. A picture of my daughter holding the gift they provided the funds for will be added to one of the panels of the card.

Seize The Daisies

Happy Tuesday! 

Today I have another fun little card to share with you using the ever adorable Harry from Great Impressions.  Isn't he just the cutest?!?!

 

The image is E875 Harry With Daisies and the fabulous sentiment is D507 Seize The Daisies.  A match made in heaven!

 

I wanted to keep the color palette of orange and yellow to match my daisies.  It's bright and happy, fun and sunshiny!  Images colored with Copic Markers as well as the Adhesive Pearls.

 

 

Sakura Glitter and Glaze Pens in silver, orange and green for accents as well as a fabulous flourish.

Bumble Bear

Hello again, friends!  It's Monday, so that means I get to share another creation with you that uses some fabulous stamps from the Great Impressions online store!  Today I'm sharing a fun card using one of the *NEWEST* images, and it is darling!  Take a peek...

I started by stamping the image, G526 Bear With Bumblebees, then coloring it with a mix of glitter gel pen and colored pencil.  Isn't he darling?!

I thought this sentiment, A147 Buzzing By, was the PERFECT one to go with the image, don't you agree?  I also shaped a paper flower, using my same color scheme, to use as an accent.

The last thing to add was the ribbon, then it was all layered onto the card base!  I think this is just so sweet, don't you?  I can't wait to read what you think in the comments below!
