When It Rains.....

Happy Tuesday!

Today I have a little encouragement card to share with you.  One I hope will bring some cheer to the recipient!

I used the F448 When It Rains stamp set.  I adore this sentiment with these sweet little rain boots!  Sentiment and image stamped using Tuxedo Black Ink and colored with Copic Markers.  I added a wee bit of Sakura Glitter Pens to some of the boot accents, they give it a subtle sparkle.

Classic and Scalloped Circle dies layered on top of a doily.  Corner Tabs, Enamel Dots, Black & White Gingham Ribbon, Jute Twine and a little silver heart charm as an accent.

Don't forget about our Monthly Challenge, To Use Your Favorite Stamp.  Still plenty of time to play along!  And when using Great Impressions Stamps please link up your creations to our Customer Gallery

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Enjoy~~

Fancy Pants Flamingos

Hi, friends!  I'm back today with another card using fabulous Great Impressions stamps!  Today I'm sharing a fun, summery card with you all, complete with pink flamingos!  Take a peek...

Fun, right?!  I started by heat embossing the image, G372 Flamingos in Flip Flops, in gold, then watercoloring it.  In hindsight, I think embossing in either clear or white would have been better, but it's all good. ;)  A few gems accent these three fabulous birds, pun intended. ;)

I created a faux Polaroid frame for my image with black cardstock.  Then, I heat embossed part of a sentiment from the OWH102 Missing You Set.  I added a seashell, flower, and another rhinestones for a bit more bling and to help anchor the focal panel.

Some fun papers, ribbon, and punched chevron arrows completed this card.  I love the way it turned out!  What do you think?  I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments below!

That's all for me today, friends.  THANK YOU so much for stopping by to take a peek at my card!  I also would love for you to come and join our monthly challenge!  If you use a stamp from the Great Impressions online store, please link it up in our Customer Gallery, too!  Until next time, HUGS and happy stamping, friends! :)

Hey Chickie...

Happy Saturday!

Even though I'm retired, I still get excited about weekends - just habit, I guess!
It's my day to post for Great Impressions, and I chose some of the newer
releases to showcase.  This little chicken is spending his weekend on the beach,
flip flops, and all!

For today's card, I used these Great Impressions Stamps:

The chicken was stamped and colored, onto the focal panel.
Another chicken was stamped onto a post it note, and fussy cut,
to use as a mask.
The mask was placed onto the panel.
The Beach Sand was stamped a few times, to give this little guy
ample space to hang out.
Once the sand was stamped, the water was hand drawn with a marker,
and the sky was sponged with distress inks.
A Wink of Stella Brush Pen gave some sparkle to the sand and water,
and a thought bubble was created for a bit of whimsy.
Three little enamel dots were added as a finishing touch.

Hope you like him! I think he's a cutie patootie, for sure!

Buzzing By

Happy Friday everyone! Today I've got a window card to show you using two cute Great Impressions stamps:

I made a window in the front of my card  and covered it with a piece of acetate.

The sentiment and bees were stamped on the inside of the card. I wanted to showcase both sides of this paper.
I colored the bees on the front with glimmer mists and popped them up with foam adhesive.
If you spend some time this weekend playing with your Great Impressions stamps, you can post your creations in the Customer Gallery. We love seeing all of your ideas! Don't forget there's also a challenge going on- you have all month to join in! Thanks for stopping by today, and I'll see you next week!

You are in my thoughts ...

Good morning and Happy Hump Day! Ruza here with my first project as a Designer for Great Impressions. I am super excited to be here, and hope that you are inspired by my creations!

Summer is in full swing, and I couldn't resist create a card with the adorable Summer Days (E453) stamp.

The adorable Summer Days (E453) stamp is perfect for paper piecing. I colored the adorable bear with my Copic Markers, fussy cut him out and paper-pieced him together on top of the colorful blanket.

I matched the stamp with the Thought (B176) stamp since he is just laying on the blanket chillin' and thinking.

Here's another look at Summer Days (E453) stamp ...

That is all for me today. I will be back next week with another project featuring some amazing stamps from Great Impressions! I hope you will check out our current Great Impressions Challenge, and if you use some Great Impressions stamps make sure you link them up in our Customer Gallery!

Until next week ... Enjoy!

Coffee Cups

Happy Tuesday!

Donna here with my very first Great Impressions post!  I am beyond thrilled to be here and to be able to share some of these beautifully illustrated stamps.

My card for today will give you a little insight into my personality.....  I LOVE COFFEE!

My card uses the G449 Coffee Cup Border.  I added a coffee cup to each end by masking off the stamp.  Images colored with Copic Markers and a bit of sheer ribbon and some enamel brads in a creamy coffee color to add some accent.

The inside of my card uses the F189 Nicest Perks sentiment.  Masking off the border stamp again I added a cup-o-Joe to the sentiment.

Don't forget to check out our  July Challenge, Use Your Favorite Stamp.  You don't have to use Great Impressions stamps to play along, but it'd be wonderful if you did.  AND if you do, don't forget to link up to our Customer Gallery, where at the end of the year you may win some fabulous prizes for being a loyal customer!

Thanks so much for stopping by.  I'll be back next Tuesday!

Enjoy~~

Get Well Soon

Hi, friends!  I'm back today with another card using fabulous Great Impressions stamps!  Today I'm sharing a soft get well card with you all.  Take a peek...

I love the font of this sentiment, C470 Cursive Get Well.  Since it looks so feminine, I went with a very soft and feminine color scheme with pink and grays.  Oh, and POLKA DOTS! :)

The stamped portion of the panel was made using K93 Distressed Background, stamped in pink, and B191 Elegant Motif repeatedly stamped in gray over the distressed stamping.

I added some more fun polka dotted papers and some pink ribbon, plus pink liquid pearls, to finish this off.  I think it's pretty!
