October Monthly Challenge AND our Top September Pix!

Good Monday morning to you all!

It sure has been a busy week here at Great Impressions Stamps!
Our Ronald McDonald House Charity Hop was a resounding success!!
Thank you to everyone that participated!
Stop back tomorrow to see if you are a winner.

Today we are starting our October Monthly Challenge,
but first let's see who our random winner is for September.

Drum roll please.....(lol!)
Random.org has chosen...

Congrats Karen! Please e-mail me at jjstucky@sbcglobal.net to claim
your coupon code for $20 off a Great Impressions Stamps order
(including shipping) to be used anytime in October.

I know you have been waiting to see who made our top pix.
Each month you make it more difficult for us to choose just three!

And here they are:

This is what Angi had to say about her top pix:
"What a great sentiment!  I love how the word "dream" catches your eye
(along with the bird) and how the bits of text draws your eyes to the sentiment.
Congrats Marsha, on being my Top Pix!"

Erin fell in love with Joan Ervin's card.
She said, "I just love everything about this card...the color choices,
the sentiment, the gorgeous white flowers, and the pearl details.
It is stunning!"

I had a hard time choosing my top pix.
Everyone does such a nice job.  Then I came across
Pauline's card.  Her beautiful decoupaged flowers caught my eye,
and her sentiment captured my heart!  Her flowers have such wonderful dimension.
They almost look real!

Congratulations Ladies!

 Each of you may claim
this badge to display on your blog:

Are you ready for our October Challenge!
This months theme is "Fall".  Think of the glorious colors you see
outdoors everywhere you look. Think of the wonderful Fall textures out there like burlap or twine.  Or how about a "Trick or Treat" card or Thanksgiving card?  Gift tags, treat bags, I could go on...
the possibilities are endless.

Here is what the Design Team came up with to jump start your Mojo!

Isn't this spook - a - licious!
on her creative treat!  Yum!

These two cute pumpkins ARE too cute!
Mary colored them up beautifully with her Prisma colored pencils and Gamsol.
Love the tiny tag and bow!
Mary used E551 Too Cute Pumpkins, of course!

Angi's treat bags are the creepiest and would be perfect for "ghosting".
You know that tradition where you set a treat bag on a porch step,
ring the doorbell and hide.  It's fun to watch the kiddos open the door
and squeal in delight!  Angi used F501 Ghoulish and G432 Spooky Tree.

F334 Henry the turkey takes center stage on Erin's card.
He will not be anyone's dinner this year as he is just to cute to eat!
Erin has inked him up in such bright happy colors!
I love the bright turkey against the muted background!

What do you think these two witches are up to?
Guess we will have to accept their invitation to join them to find out (Grin!)

I love the die Sue used around her card and
the writing in the background.  Perfect back drop!
Sue used B217 Have Some Brew and G433 Witches Brew,
to create her be-witching card.

I always thought Fall colors lend themselves
well to sympathy cards.  I choose a deep
yellow and Kraft for mine, and a white pigment ink for my image.  It really makes it pop!
A strand of twine and a few buttons were added for extra dimension.
(The outside buttons are actually a light brown) (grrr...)
The stamps I used are F506 Wheat and B205 Beautiful Life.

Now it's your turn!
Show us your best interpretations of Fall!
Even better, use a Great Impressions Stamp on your project
and get a whopping 25% off any orders you place in October!
Just leave us a comment telling us you used our stamps!
We can't make it any easier than that!

Have a wonderful week!

Hugs,

Jenny

Thanks so much for the prize I won last weekend in your Ronald McDonald Blog Hop and for inviting me to join your challenges. I was happy to receive my stamps so quickly and couldn't wait to use them. I think this cute little mouse stamp by GI is just adorable and the Stickables work great! Thanks again. Debi
